Our Story
Now in our 5th year of business, team 4O1! has earned a reputation as one of Lehigh Valley’s top Graphic Design & Web Development firms. We specialize in creating custom Marketing Solutions that are specifically tailored to each individual client’s needs. Our professional services span the realms of Web, Print, Video and Photography.
4O1’s core competencies most certainly lie in the realm of Web Design and Development. The Team
Brian Wcislo – Co Founder
Brian, aka Boca, is the “face” of 4O1! With the unique talent of befriending anyone and everyone he quickly opened the door for numerous opportunities to grow 4O1! Brian’s ambition is only eclipsed by his drive to make every project better than the last.
Born and raised in Fords, NJ, Brian was know as “Jersey” by his friends and colleagues at the International Fine Arts College of Miami (now the Art Institute of Miami). After receiving his degree in Film and Video Production, Brian returned to the Garden State to work with now long time friend, Frank Farrell, at Custom Video Productions. It wasn’t long before Brian decided to jump into the deep end and start his own business with his “hetero life partner”, Curtis, introducing the world to 4O1! Creative. Utilizing the business as a tool to increase his talents in photography, Brian is now one of the most promising young shutter bugs in the Valley.

Boca lives in Allentown and when he’s not playing the Wii with his son Tristen, he can be found at the latest all you can eat crab legs buffet with his lovely lady, Z!
Extraordinary Graphic Designer, Elite Gamer, Savvy Businessman, Collective Compulsive, Pop Culture Geek… These are a few words one might use when describing Curtis, aka C$.
Born and raised in Moline Illinois (home of Sluggers Pizza & where Curt learned to toss a mean pie) Curtis always had a love for the arts. Fresh out of High School he took his fine art scholarship and moved to Miami to study one of his favorite subject matters, Film & Video. After college Curtis moved to L.A. to pursue a career in the film industry. A few years later an opportunity arose to yet again relocate across the country and start up a design shop in the Lehigh Valley with Brian Wcislo.
Over the past 5 years as one of the founding members of 4O1! he has worn dozens of hats… most recently as our Lead Designer, Key Project Manager and Brand Strategist. Every time we change our logo you have C$ to thank ;)
Curtis currently lives in Atown with his lovely wife Tara, his awesome son CAJ and his enormous DVD, Video Game and GI Joe collection.
After graduating from Kutztown University and sharpening his web design & development skills with some of the area’s top firms, Beck set out on his own and launched Action/Reaction Design in 2006.
He quickly joined up with 4O1! Creative in 2008, became a partner in January 2009 and has evolved into a master programmer with design skills to boot. His attention to detail shows in every project 4O1! turns out.
Devon currently lives in Macungie with his beautiful wife and daughter. Aside from his family, he is obsessed with music and LOST. In his spare time he is a member of the imaginary dance troupe The Trapper Keeperz with Curtis.

Producing / Preproduction
Pre-production is the first of the three phases of production and more often than not the most grossly overlooked. During this phase we help you identify the goals and objectives of your video as well as define your target audience. This is of key importance, as everything from here on out should be done with your specific audience in mind. You would produce a completely different type of video for conservative business people as opposed to wild and crazy creative types, or soccer moms? The tone, the pace, the actors, style, language, music, length, and other aspects of the production must be geared to the temperament, attitudes and interests of your intended audience.

Video Production
